“The Conversation Room” is a monthly contest run by the Harare
International Festival of the Arts (HIFA) and we’re searching for up-and-coming spoken word artists (18-35 years old) from Malawi,
Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Artists are invited to submit spoken word content in video form
either as direct spoken word delivery, rap, slam and hip-hop whilst addressing any of the following themes:
GBV, Gender Equality and
Freedom of Expression.
